About the Role
As part of our continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our national team.
You'll play a key role in driving national revenue growth by securing new maintenance service contracts, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding opportunities across a diverse portfolio of building services.
This is a senior leadership role focused on business development, contract acquisition and strategic account growth. You'll work closely with senior leaders to convert opportunities into long-term customer partnerships.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven success in a senior B2B sales or business development role.
- Experience securing large commercial service contracts.
- Strong background in tender management, contract negotiations and strategic sales.
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially astute with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
- Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multiple complex opportunities simultaneously.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
- Experience within Building Services, HVAC, Fire Protection, or Facilities Management is highly regarded.
- Relevant trade, engineering or business qualifications are advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute national sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Identify, pursue and secure new maintenance service contracts across multiple industries.
- Lead complex tenders, proposals, pricing and contract negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key national customers and stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with business leaders to convert project opportunities into long-term maintenance contracts.
- Support local teams in securing project work and cross-selling services.
- Analyse market trends, customer needs and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns and sales initiatives.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Coach and support team members involved in bids and tender submissions.
